South West Colorado Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Conference: It’s All About Relationships:
This annual conference, held every Fall at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, is another important professional development and networking event for local early care and education professionals, who come from all around the region and northern New Mexico to hear fabulous presentations on a wide variety of topics. CEUs are another benefit. MECC is an active partner in planning and implementing this conference, which was first held in 2011. MECC’s Coordinator is on the planning committee, and MECC members present at the conferences. Planning for each conference gets underway at the conclusion of each conference.
