Montelores Early Childhood Council

Colorado’s Reach Out and Read is part of the national Reach Out and Read program. Its mission is to prepare our state’s young children to succeed in school by collaborating with health care providers to prescribe books and encourage families to read together. MECC member Mary Vozar is the Southwest Regional Coordinator. If you’ve attended our annual Early Childhood Fair and Celebration you’ve seen Mary at her display, giving away a book to every young child who wants one.
