Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (ECMHC)

MECC is currently accepting applications for an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (ECMHC) to provide early childhood mental health consultation services to child care programs in Montezuma and Dolores Counties.

This position will provide consultation, coaching, training and education to families and early learning programs throughout Montezuma and Dolores Counties. The ECMHC focuses on developing and strengthening the social emotional skills of young children through timely screening and assessment, increasing the parent and the early learning provider’s ability to manage challenging behaviors, and providing outreach and connecting families to other community resources.

This is a full time position and compensation is dependent on experience.

Collaborative Management Plan Coordinator

The Piñon Project is seeking a Collaborative Management Plan Coordinator. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a plan to provide a continuum of care to children, youth and families who are involved in, or who are at risk of becoming involved in, the child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems; ability to participate and lead community meetings, develop, write and execute MOU’s for the Collaborative Management Program, coordinate all aspects of HB1451 to effectively engage stakeholders and attend, schedule and coordinate Community Evaluation Team Meetings. Position requires high level coordination and collaboration experience and excellent knowledge of resources in the community. This position provides an oversight role for High Fidelity Wraparound Program. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. EOC.

Full-Time Head Start Center Director

This position is responsible for supervising teachers and facilitating general center operations. This position works closely and is supported by management and specialists. The program offers part day, school day and extended day program options. Minimum Requirements: BA/AA in ECE or related field, Colorado Preschool Director Certification or willingness to obtain. Minimum of 5 years’ experience directing a child care center. Annual salary range $34,819.20 to $41,246.40; based on education and experience. Includes a basic benefits package.
