A guide to resources for parent and families in Montezuma and Dolores counties.
Assistance is provided to veterans, surviving spouses, and dependents in filling for federal and state benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs and the State of Colorado.
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 12 Noon Thursday

Re-adjustment counseling is provided to veterans and their families in the Four Corners area. Any war zone veteran and family are eligible for counseling services. Veterans who have experienced acts of sexual violence or harassment while on active duty are eligible. Any veteran can be seen for assessment of needs and referral to appropriate services. Please bring discharge papers if available when contacting office for more information and appointments. If discharge papers are unavailable, permission forms for copies of discharge papers are available at the Center. Services are free.
Counseling: Counseling provided to eligible vets and their families in the areas of emotional difficulties, post-traumatic stress syndrome, family/marital difficulties, crisis intervention, and substance abuse
Outreach: Occasional information-sharing sessions in area communities, and weekly assistance from other agencies provides job information and benefits applications
Hours: 8 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Wednesday & Friday, 12:30 PM – 7:15 PM Thursday
