Programs and materials are offered for children entering the world of reading and learning in order to help them gain confidence in and continued enjoyment of reading through their school years and into adulthood. A source of recreational reading for all ages, the library also serves as an agency for self-education and enrichment and provides information essential to daily living for all ages. Residents within the boundaries of the RE-6 school district are eligible to use the library. There is no charge for general library use.

Social support and activities are provided for seniors in the Mancos area. Nutritious meals are provided Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Seniors must be 60 or older. $3.50 donation is requested for meals; and delivered meals cost $3.50.
