2013 Family Night Photos

Have you ever had Melted Snowman to drink? That was the beverage of choice at the December Family Night! Kids and grownup kids had their pictures taken as Mrs. or Santa Claus, Rudolph, or a Merry Elf. There were ornaments to make, cookies to decorate, Christmas carols to sing, and, of course, a surprise visit from Santa. It was amazing that he knew the nice things each child had done during the year. Thanks to all the families who brought their kids for this fun evening!

November’s Gobbles and Gobbles of Fun Family Night included art projects, games, good food, and gratitude. We are so grateful so many families came to share in the fun!

MECC’s creative staff planned a Spooktacular Family Night for October, with spooky food, costumes, spider web games, and trick or treating. Everyone had a ghostly good time!

In September, children who will attend kindergarten in the 2014 school year, got a feel for what it will be like when they attended MECC’s Transition to Kindergarten Family Night at Beech Street School. They got to practice listening and following directions, sharing, learning about books, and most fun of all, going through a cafeteria line and eating dinner from a tray just like in real school.
