Meet Katrina Lindus

Katrina Lindus | Montelores Early Childhood Council

Katrina Lindus is happily married with two children and lives in Cortez. She started her path to the Early Childhood Council in 2009 when her beautiful daughter became her inspiration for starting a career as an early childhood teacher. Working at both Trinity Lutheran Preschool and The Children’s Kiva she earned her Early Childhood Teacher qualification and adored her work in the classroom. With the birth of her son came a new role as a full time caretaker and advocate for a special needs child. She was ecstatic when presented the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our community’s children working for MECC. She is the Health Integration Coordinator working with the wellness committee on a health navigation guide for families; and the new Transition Coordinator hoping to ease the transition into kindergarten for all children in the community.

Katrina is truly thankful for far too many things to list. A few of her favorite things include: daily banter with her husband, the way her daughter sings along to nightly lullabies, her son’s awesome dance moves, the opportunity to witness many miracles, the heath of her children, her family and friends both near and far, a nice new pair of shoes, a hot cup of coffee, and a great big cheeseburger. She is truly blessed.
